I’m a graduate student in Computer Science at the University of Toronto. I’m part of the Software Engineering group.

I studied Combinatorics and Optimization at the University of Waterloo before falling into a job doing real-time control systems, where I fell in love with Computer Science. My major interests are human factors in design, and software validation – both particularly when dealing with concurrency or synchronization problems.

    Hey Carolyn,

I followed your trackback from TDWTF to your sexism post and used a quote in my own blog: http://www.nerdyandthegreek.com/node/219

While you’re there, you ought to poke around a little bit. I think you’d be interested. You might even remember us from last year. We were covered in your school paper in the first week of October.

Take care and don’t let the assholes get you down.
